LEKKID is a project born in Barcelona to produce creative toys that develop children’s cognitive and creative skills. LEKKID believe in a world where children are innovative, so that in the face of everyday problems they find inventive solutions.
They envision free-thinking children, environmentally aware children, children who continually explore the world around them.

LEKKID work carefully alongside educators and designers, during the entire process from the conceptualization, design and manufacture of each product. Making sure to offer educational, durable and quality products.

Preparing children for the future

A recent OECD survey found that 28% of all 15 year old students struggle with successfully tackling everyday problems. The world is a complex and ever changing place to grow up in, it’s tough. Since 1998 there has been a global decline in creativity, imagination and critical thinking among children. LEKKID design products that strengthen creative skills, so that children can acquire the tools to solve problems innovatively.

ColorADD

A single, universal and non-discriminatory language. ColorADD, is a universal inclusive language system. ColorADD is unique and non-discriminatory. A language system that helps colour-blind people – identify colours. Using graphic, easy-to-recognize symbols, LEKKID includes colour-blind children in the joy of mixing and playing with coloured pieces.
