Copenhagen based Fabelab have just launched a gorgeous range of Picnic and Back to School items. Comprised of lunchboxes, tableware, water bottles and backpacks - there is everything you need to get your picnic packed and taken to the beach this summer! Designed in a subtle range of colours, the items are produced from environmentally conscious materials, such as this beautiful 2 layer lunchbox & thermos flask. The Fabelab ‘Lunchbox’ in 2 layer is produced in 100% organic PLA. PLA - Biobased Plastic is our new favorite material. PLA is made from renewable fibers extracted from crops like corn, wheat, and sweet potatoes. It performs much like traditional plastic, but with the crucial benefit of being 100% compostable in commercial compost facilities. The material is fantastic because it is versatile, compostable, and the best of all, not derived from petroleum.
